ICICI’s Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB) Probationary Officer Programme is a great way to start your career in private banking sector. The programme is the brain child of ICICI and Manipal Global Education Services, which provides banking-skill training in servicing, cross-selling and other core banking skills through internships and on the job training in a period of one year. The idea of this programme is to produce motivated young managers who have all the required banking skills along with deep financial sector knowledge to complete their job tasks in an efficient manner. The course is divided into four terms that include class room training, internships and On-the-job training at ICICI bank. The class room training is provided at IMA, Bengaluru. The application process for ICICI’s Probationary Officer Programme is online that has to be completed by all interested candidates on or before 31st march 2020 through the ICICI official website. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an online test, which will be followed by the Online Psychometric Evaluation and Group Discussion. The time and place of the test will be notified to all the candidates through email and SMS. The final selection will be done on the basis of merit list that will be uploaded on ICICI’s website. The online test will be of one hour containing three sections; Verbal ability, Analytical ability, Numerical ability with 20 questions in each section. Also, there will be no negative marking criteria in the test. Interested candidates are advised to book their Test Slots by selecting the desired date of the Test and location as soon as possible, as the slot booking is subject to availability of seats on the desired date. The total training fee of the programme is Rs.3.88 lakhs, which can also be availed from ICICI Bank itself as an education loan and this loan is to be paid in a period of 5 years after the candidate joins the bank as deputy manager.
